Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has worked closely with Techfront on various ICC and BCCI events and aware of the commitment and competence of the Techfront team in being able to deliver and exceed expectations even in the most challenging situations.
TNCA approached Techfront with the idea of being able to give the cricket loving people in rural Tamil Nadu an experience of watching the game in an ambience as that of a Stadium with state-of-art Infrastructure as also an exposure to the upcoming talented players to the current competitive atmosphere that surrounds any big tournament.
Techfront took the contract with the commitment to TNCA that they would work towards converting regular playgrounds into State-of-the-art stadia and for the very first time, apart from the usual Digital solutions, offered other products and services as given below to do just that very successfully –

  • BLEACHERS (Modular seating)– created 360 degree galleries with blocks of seats totaling 3200 seats in Natham and 1200 seats in Tirunelveli.
  • DUG OUTS with LED Panel to display Playing Team details – Specially Designed and created at each venue – Chennai, Natham and Tirunelveli
  • Field of Play (FOP) Activations – 3D mats (behind wicket for Central Sponsors), 2D Mats (Team Logos) & 3D Paints for associate sponsors
  • Presentation Stage with LED Backdrop – An innovative design given by Techfront and to be assembled in a record time of 6 minutes in all after the TNPL finals for the Presentation ceremony.

The Design Team from Techfront was deployed to do the Recee along with TNCA/TNPL Officials of the venues for an understanding of the set up and to arrive at the specifications of the bleachers and the aluminum base required. Once that was done, Techfront came up with a design and plan to erect the massive structure which is the first ever such attempt in the Indian Sports scenario. In addition to the in-house support staff, there was a need to outsource around 50 skilled workers from Mumbai to complete the rigging of the seats. Since this was for the public, special care had to be taken on the safety aspect of the seating. Each gallery has two blocks of 200 seats. A total of 8 galleries have been put up at Natham and 3 in Tirunelveli. The team worked round the clock for 72 hours to get everything in place for the event.

“As a Stadia Solutions Technology Company, our strategy is to take Sports to the rural and remotest areas in India and conduct world class sports events there. Keeping in mind that Olympians are coming in from places like Satara and Tripura, it is high time that Sports goes to the Heart of India. And with modular seats and modular lights, that becomes a reality” says Mr.Muralidharan, Founder, Techfront who has a very clear vision on the way forward for his organization and the Sports Industry.
